ANNUAL DINNER

BUSINESS & COMMUNITY EXPO
The Chamber’s annual 2-day Business & Community EXPO is held the last weekend in February at the Wauconda High School. The event features over 70 exhibitors as well as a craft show hosted by the American Legion Post 911.

ARBOR DAY TREE & SHRUB SALE
The Chamber works in conjunction with the Village of Wauconda and Acres Group to co-host an annual Arbor Day Tree and Shrub Sale for the Wauconda community.
The event is held the first Saturday following Arbor Day. This year’s event will be held on May 1, 2010. The event also includes a National Arbor Day poster contest that is open to local school students.

ANNUAL GOLF OUTING
The Chamber hosts an Annual Golf Outing every June to bring local business members together for an afternoon of fun and camaraderie. The event includes lunch, dinner and an awards presentation. This year’s event will be held on Tuesday, June 8th at the Prairie Isle Golf Club in Prairie Grove.

FARMERS’ MARKET
The Chamber’s Farmers’ Market begins the third week of June and continues through October, every Thursday afternoon from 3 to 7 pm on Main Street, from Liberty Street to the Village Hall. Fresh produce, flowers, meats, chesses, bread, and a myriad of other products, plus live entertainment and food vendors comprise the market.

IPRA CHAMPIONSHIP RODEO
The Chamber sponsors the IPRA Championship Rodeo the second weekend in July. Since 1964 the rodeo has entertained fans from near and far with cowboys, horses, bulls, food vendors, beer tent, and live bands mixing for an exciting annual event.

COMMUNITY ROUND UP
The Wauconda Area Chamber of Commerce is co-sponsoring the second annual Community Round Up Liberty Lakes Homeowners Association on Sunday, August 22nd. JAMMIN’ ON MAIN STREET DANCE
The Saturday of Labor Day weekend brings the Annual “Jammin’ On Main” Street Dance, sponsored by the Chamber and hosted by the Village of Wauconda. Main Street is closed from 6 pm until 11 pm, and filled with residents enjoying two live bands while raising money and gathering groceries for the Wauconda/Island Lake Food Pantry.
