Cleaning Cabin LLC provides professional carpet and upholstery steam cleaning to residential and commercial properties. We are a fully insured and licensed, locally owned and operated company. Cleaning Cabin is certified by the Clean Trust in carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, tile and grout cleaning, and water restoration. Cleaning Cabin is BBB accredited and a member of the Carpet and Rug Cleaners Institute of Illinois (CRCII).

Owner Jason Collette has multiple years of experience in carpet and upholstery cleaning. He has worked for Chem-Dry, ServiceMaster, and Maxcare.

Since May of 2000, Jason has been driving a tractor trailer for CPC Logistics. Jason’s dream, however, was to own and operate his own business. “My vision was to provide customers not only with quality service, but a friendly and courteous atmosphere. I remembered the sense of accomplishment I felt when customers were satisfied with the service I provided while working for previous cleaning companies, so I decided to start my own carpet and upholstery service.”

“I enjoy spending time in Northern Wisconsin with my family and my dogs, and someday want to build a log cabin there. That was the inspiration behind Cleaning Cabin - “If I can’t live in a log cabin yet, I can work out of one. Every time I look at my vehicle, it inspires me to do the best job that I can.”

Spring is right around the corner! Cleaning Cabin suggests the following tips to aid you in your Spring cleaning purchasing decisions:

1. Vacuum: Vacuuming is the most important step in the cleaning process. I suggest a vacuum with a minimum of three filtration levels, including a High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filter, and is endorsed by the Carpet and Rug Institute (CRI). Having a vacuum with multiple filtration levels will reduce irritants down to 0.3 microns in size and improve indoor air quality.

2. Go Green: When using cleaning products make sure that they are green seal certified, are low in Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCS), and are biodegradable. When using cleaning products, always use the Proper Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and follow manufacturers’ instructions.

3. Service: If you hire a company to do the cleaning for you, make sure that they are insured and licensed. Ask if they will offer a free quote, as well as what certifications they hold, which associations they belong to, or if they have references.
